Building a healthy snack picture with shape tools

What this is

A finished Year 1 activity sheet, with notes on what to look for. It is also the answer key for Tasks 1 and 2. Sides and corners: circle 0 and 0, square 4 and 4, triangle 3 and 3, rectangle 4 and 4. Task 2: the big orange circle with a small green triangle, and the big green circle on a small brown rectangle (broccoli). Pupils’ own pictures and counts in Tasks 3 and 4 will differ: this pupil used 6 circles, 0 squares, 2 triangles and 2 rectangles, 10 shapes altogether.
