Checking a Concert Poster Is Easy to Read

Year 2 at Ysgol y Felin are having a Summer Concert. 3 groups made a poster on a tablet to tell the families.

While the register is called: write your name on your sheet. Look at the 3 posters on the stimulus sheet.

Starter question: Which poster can you read from far away? Which one is hard?

DCF: Producing → Evaluating and improving digital content No computers needed · the tablets are drawn on paper

Our job: check the posters, then make our own

We will check 3 posters with 2 checks, say why, then plan our own poster for the families.

Success criterion

Check 1

You can read it from the back of the hall.

Check 2

It tells you what, when and where.

  • I can say why a poster is hard to read.
  • I can check if a poster tells you what, when and where.
  • I can check my own poster and say how to make it better.
