GCSE Health and Social Care, and Childcare
Mae disgrifiad y cymhwyster yn Saesneg yn unig, gan ei fod wedi ei gymryd o fanyleb Saesneg CBAC.
This GCSE asks for little named digital work in its content, but both NEA units, worth 60% of the qualification, must be submitted digitally and Unit 3 includes an investigation. Learners also interpret health statistics and analyse health promotion campaigns for the Unit 1 examination. The biggest thing KS3 can build is confident, well-structured word-processed writing backed by reliable, referenced online research.

Understanding how media and online relationships affect wellbeing
Unit 1 lists the influence of society, role models and the media as a factor affecting growth and development, and the spec expects learners to understand relationships including virtual ones. Social media is not named, so this is a teaching opportunity rather than a stated digital requirement.

Cysylltiadau â chymwysterau eraill
Health data work overlaps with fitness testing in Physical Education and Health and with statistics in Mathematics, so a shared Excel approach in Years 7 to 9 would serve all three.
