Skills for Life: Everyday Law

Mae disgrifiad y cymhwyster yn Saesneg yn unig, gan ei fod wedi ei gymryd o fanyleb Saesneg Open Awards.

Everyday Law is an Open Awards Skills for Life unit offered at 5 levels from Entry Level 1 to Level 2, each 20 guided learning hours, covering rules and laws, rights, the people who enforce the law, how laws are made in Wales, equality and consumer law, and how to get help and resolve legal problems. The provider designs the tasks and learners build a portfolio assessed Pass or Fail. Digital demand is low: no criterion needs a computer. Digital work sits in judging reliable online sources of legal information, online safety law, complaint emails and the e-portfolio.

  1. Keeping evidence in an e-portfolio

Asesu: Yn cael ei addysgu, ond nid ei asesu

Learners must collect their evidence in a portfolio, and Open Awards encourages e-portfolios wherever possible. Evidence for this unit can include photos of role plays, scanned forms and digital documents, so learners may need to save, name and upload files. The portfolio is required, but the digital format is optional.
