GCSE Dance
Mae disgrifiad y cymhwyster yn Saesneg yn unig, gan ei fod wedi ei gymryd o fanyleb Saesneg CBAC.
The only compulsory digital demand is the Unit 3 Dance Appreciation paper, a digital only examination that includes an unseen work, so learners must analyse dance on screen and type their answers. Everything else is live and physical, but filming rehearsals, studying professional works on video, editing accompaniment to time and a digital reflective log are the practical routes most learners will take. The biggest thing KS3 should build is watching dance closely on screen, pausing and replaying to name and evaluate what they see in typed answers.

Da gwybod
- Performance must be live, page 12: the solo learner "must actively perform in front of a live audience for a minimum of 1 minute 30 seconds", so filmed or dance for camera work cannot replace it.
- Choreography is realised live, page 11: Section 1.1.3 is "Realising their choreography in a live performance", for an audience.
- The reflective log format is open, page 4: it is produced "in a non-prescribed format", so a digital log is allowed but not required.
- The Unit 3 examination is on screen only, pages 4 and 15: "Digital only examination 1 hour 45 minutes" and it includes "an unseen work". No paper version is described in the specification.
- Watching performances on screen is encouraged but not assessed, page 19: "experiences will not be directly assessed".
