Skills for Life: Teamwork

Teamwork is a 20 hour Skills for Life unit, one of many units learners combine into a Skills for Life or Skills for Work Award, Certificate or Diploma. Learners learn about roles in a team, take part in group tasks, show respect for other people's views, complete a task together and review their own and the team's performance. Digital demand is low: every criterion can be met face to face. Digital work sits in optional routes, such as planning and sharing tasks with online collaboration tools, giving peer feedback through comments, and capturing teamwork evidence on video or audio.

Skills that use Collaboration

  1. Planning and sharing a group task online

Assessed: In coursework (non-examination assessment, NEA)

At Level 1 and Level 2 learners work with other people to complete a group task and contribute to team objectives, which the criteria require. Doing this through shared documents, role sheets or online checklists is only one possible route, so the digital collaboration is optional and can be replaced by paper plans.
